Here is an easy holiday home decor craft using supplies you probably have around the house.  This cute Rudolph is made from recycled cardboard – check out the instructions.  We didn’t have any 11×17″ paper, so just printed the template out on 8 1/2 x 11 printer paper.  It makes a smaller version, but still just as cute!

Here is an easy but impressive craft idea – it’s one your grandmothers likely did!  It is also a ‘green’ craft, using old magazines or catalogs.  Martha has a post with instructions and a video.  We did do one thing a little differently  – after spray-painting, we used spray adhesive and added the glitter.  That way you don’t have to worry about getting the glitter on while the paint is still wet.

If you have a very colorful magazine or catalog, you may not even want to spray paint it at all!  I’m going to paint my next ones bright pink & turquoise – I’ll share pictures once they’re done.

Some of you have told us you’re having trouble finding the Future Floor Wax that we used in last Saturday’s Make & Take – for the glittered Christmas ball ornament.  This product is manufactured by the SC Johnson Company.  The product was renamed Pledge Premium Finish with FutureShine; you can see the info from their web site here.  Hope this helps those of you who are looking for this product!

The Memory Box order arrived late yesterday afternoon!  We restocked up on some favorites, but also have tons of new dies (plus some new stamps).  You can take your chances and wait for the sales on Friday and Saturday – but if you don’t want to miss out, you’d better come by today or tomorrow (we’re open normal hours today and until 3pm on Wednesday).

If you have asked us to set aside dies or stamps, we have them ready.  You may pick them up anytime, but they will be excluded from the after-Thanksgiving sales (along with all special orders and holds).  If you have changed your mind about any of them, please let us know so we can make them available for others.
