We have another great Make & Take for you this Saturday.  It was done on the Silhouette Cameo; as it happens, we’re also having a FREE Silhouette Cameo demo on Saturday at 11am.  So you can do the Make & Take, then see how easy it was to create on the Cameo.

We’re also having a Luck O’ the Irish Sale on Saturday – your chance to save BIG on all the great product we have in the store right now.  The weather on Saturday is supposed to be gorgeous, so all-in-all it promises to be a great day!  We hope to see you here.

The countdown to St. Patrick’s day is on – just a couple of weeks away.  We have a really cute card for this Saturday’s Make & Take, invoking the luck of the Irish!  We hope you’ll be able to join us.

Another good reason to come by and see us is all the new product that has arrived this week.  We received a huge Lindy’s Stamp Gang order – just about everything they carry.  Next week’s Technique Thursday class will be focused on the Moonshadow Mists & Starburst Sprays.  If you’ve wondered about different ways to use them, this class is for you.

We also received a shipment from Impression Obsession, with new background cover-a-card stamps, some really cute new stamps from Sparkle Creations (plus they sent us tons of sample cards) – and the latest from Cheery Lynn just rolled in the door.  I haven’t even opened the box yet, but it’s some really fabulous stuff.

Some of you have already seen (and purchased) the fabulous new 3D kits we received earlier in the week.  Manna has done up several samples – you have to stop by and see them.  They are too beautiful to believe!

The latest Memory Box release was so fabulous!  If you didn’t have a chance to make it into the store before they flew off the shelves, you can check out the entire new release here.  We have a re-order in and it will hopefully arrive next week.  While you’re waiting for your favorites to be back in stock, come by for this Saturday’s Make & Take, using two of the stamps from the new release and some of the patterned paper.  The make & take is just $1 all day long!

If feels like winter has finally arrived – all we need is some snow!  Here’s an easy hot cocoa mix recipe, courtesey of Hy-Vee.

6 c. fat-free dry milk powder
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. baking cocoa
1 c. coffee creamer
1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
miniature marshmallows (optional – but why wouldn’t you want them?)

Combine milk powder, sugar, cocoa, creamer & pudding in a blender.  Blend until smooth.

Store in an airtight container

To serve, stir 6 oz. hot water into 1/4 c. cocoa mix.  Top with miniature marshmallows if desired (yes please!).

Serves 34.

Unless your blender is much bigger than mine, you’ll probably only be able to mix up about 1/2 of it at a time – and even that will be very full.  If you come by the store and would like a cup, just let us know and we’ll stir one up for you!
